John Winston Berta is a musician, songwriter and producer. At the tender age of just 23 he is already a veteran of innumerable stages – for example as the supporting act for Die Fantastischen Vier and Bosse. His debut album Right To Wonder is his first solo production on which he wrote all the songs and played all the instruments on (except for Lennart Smidt on keyboard). Jurik Maretzki, producer of the band Liedfett, supported him in the studio, and Marc Einstmann (e.g. Mick Jagger, Depeche Mode, The Neptunes) did the mastering.

We are overjoyed that this exceptional young Hannoverian talent is now coming to our Lounge to present his beautiful pop and rock creations from Right To Wonder. Numbers like Out Of Your Heart, Rainy Sunday Morning and Better Or Worse are in many ways reminiscent of the 60s and 70s, flirt with Folk, Americana and Soul, and indulge unashamedly in harmonies and strong emotions. Right To Wonder boasts such an international sound that you'd believe its creator might originate from anywhere – just not Hannover.
